Party Poker Opens Online Satellites for 2009 Canadian Open Poker Championship

  Party Poker to qualify for the Main Event of the Canadian Open Poker Championships. The event will be held at the Stampede Casino in Calgary, Alberta, May 13-17, 2009. As one of Canada's premier poker tournaments the event will be televised on The Score Television Network, official broadcaster of the Canadian Poker Tour.

With a series of events running throughout the week, over $1,000,000 in estimated prize pools will be up for grabs cumulating with the 128 player, $5000 buy in, heads up main event. Last year's event attracted professional poker players and celebrities from around the world and this year looks to be even bigger and better.
