Dice Control's Field Favorable Super Set

The Super Set is Boxcars, Aces, Sunflowers and Little Joes with 3s and 4s on the ends as at left.

Use the parallel sixes to launch the dice on axis and maintain control during flight.

The Field Super Set
is called a Super Set because it favors field numbers, thereby empowering the Iron Cross Betting Tactic which generates a win on every roll of the dice until the 7-out.

Note that all four primary hits are field numbers as are two of four single pitch hits. If you fool around with the other combinations, you will find many that yield field numbers. You will also find that sixes and eights occur frequently when one die single pitches.

The Super Set, because of its construction, minimizes the chances that a five will occur, assuming an on-axis throw. It also minimizes the five’s reverse side 9, but the five is of primary interest to us because of its possible exclusion from the Iron Cross Betting Tactic.

If the 5 can be eliminated from the Iron Cross betting tactic, your risk is reduced by about 30% or more and your dice control advantage is empowered.

The Iron Cross Betting Tactic is Placing the 5, 6, and 8 for two units and betting the Field for one unit on every roll, thus realizing a win on every roll of the dice until the 7-out.

Using a $10 unit as an example, you would place the 5 for $15, the 6 & 8 for $18 and make a $10 bet on the Field on every roll of the dice.

This requires an investment of $61.

So your win on each Place Number is $21 minus $10 for the Field Bet loss, a net of $11, and your win on the Field Bet is $10, except on the 2 or 12 they pay you double or triple.

Eliminating the 5 reduces your risk from $61 to just $46 and requires just 5 hits to enter the profit zone.

To gain an understanding of Super Set’s penchant for avoiding the five, it is suggested that you rotate one die through a single pitch (forward) motion and note the results, then do the same for single roll (sideways) and single yaw (circular) motions and note the results. The single pitch motion is the most significant because it will tend to keep the dice on axis, pitching forward, with roll and yaw minimized.

Out of 16 on-axis combinations (8 primary hit combinations and 8 single pitch combinations), you will not find a single 5/9 combination. A roll or a yaw must be introduced to generate a 5/9 combination.

The Release, next to the grip, is the most important component of PARR’s Controlled Throw Linchpin. Many throwing flaws related to dice not square to the end wall can be traced back to the release.

The Release is the essence of keeping the dice on axis and you will learn How To Use The Super Set To Facilitate A Perfect Release Square To The Back Wall in the August Issue of the Sharpshooter Newsletter followed by The Profit Power of Using the Iron Cross Betting Tactic with the Super Set in the September Issue.
