His entrepreneurial successes, predominantly in the field of computer and internet technology, prompted Mr. Rose to fulfill an aspiration he had as a young man to become a professional poker player. He is also the author of "Poker Aces, The Stars of Tournament Poker," a compilation of success stories and photos of the world's top tournament poker players.
