The 135th Kentucky Derby, May 2
Horse racing’s biggest race, The Kentucky Derby is celebrating its 135th running on May 2 and all of the action can be found at Jerry’s Nugget Casino. The race is scheduled to run at approximately 3 p.m.

Beginning early that morning, players can head to the Race & Sports Book for free donuts and coffee. From noon to 4 p.m., hand-carved “Track Sandwiches” on fresh homemade rolls are being served free to qualified horse players and for others to enjoy for only $4 each. Throughout the day, Jerry’s Nugget is giving away free Official Kentucky Derby commemorative glasses for any $10 Derby wager as well as a free Jerry’s Nugget Racing Polo Shirt with any $20 wager on its Horse Racing Matchup Parlay Card. Limit two glasses and one shirt per customer, while supplies last.

Cinco de Mayo’s Hot Seat Cash Party Giveaway, May 5
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, Jerry’s Nugget will host its Hot Seat Cash Party Giveaway in honor of Cinco de Mayo where 15 lucky players will each win $100. To participate, gamers must be playing slots, video poker or video keno throughout the giveaway period and have their More Club card inserted at the time of play. Throughout the three hour period, players will be randomly selected to win $100 instant cash. There is no limit to the number of times a player can win during that period.

Mother’s Day gaming specials, May 10
From 12 a.m. (midnight) to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, Jerry’s Nugget will offer two gaming specials that are sure to payoff. With the love of mother’s in one’s heart, any player at the blackjack tables that scores a blackjack comprised of an ace and face card or ace and 10-value card, with all cards being the suit of hearts, will receive a two to one (2 to 1) payoff for that hand only. There is no limit to the amount of two to one payoffs a player may receive during the 24-hour promotional period.

Also during that time, video poker players have a chance to receive a “hearts jackpot” on all quarter and dollar machines. Winners receive a bonus payout on:
