LAS VEGAS, NV - The Fray makes their way through their summer tour with a mid-way stop in Vegas to perform at The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 8:00
p.m. Special guests Jack’s Mannequin join the group for the tour.
The Denver-based adult pop/rock group, The Fray is made up of Isaac Slade on vocals and piano, Joe King on guitar and vocals, guitarist Dave Welsh and drummer Ben Wysocki. After signing with Epic Records in December 2004, the foursome from Denver toured with Weezer and Ben Folds in the summer of 2005. The tour was followed by their hit debut album How to Save a Life (2005) with two top Billboard hits, the title track as well as “Over My Head (Cable Car).”
Between tours and appearances the band released a live album which was only sold in independent music stores in 2006, Live at the Electric Factory: Bootleg No. 1. In 2008 the group re-released their Reason EP and soon returned to the studio. The band’s most recent international tour was sparked by their self-titled album released in February 2009, which has already sparked a hit single, “You Found Me.”
