Tickets priced at $225 and $100, not including applicable service charges and taxes, go on sale Saturday, April 14 at noon at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office. Tickets also will be sold at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (Smith’s Food and Drug Centers, Macy’s stores and Ritmo Latino) and ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. Wristband distribution will begin Saturday, April 14 at 6 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. A random number will then be drawn and a line-up will be in sequential order beginning with the random number selected. A wristband does not guarantee that a ticket can be purchased.
Robin Williams first captured the attention of the world as ‘Mork from Ork’ on the hit series “Mork & Mindy.” Born in Chicago and raised in Michigan and California, he trained at New York’s Julliard School under John Houseman before making his cinematic debut as the title character in Robert Altman's “Popeye.” He won the Academy Award for his performance in “Good Will Hunting” and was nominated for an Oscar for his roles in “The Fisher King,” “Dead Poets Society” and “Good Morning Vietnam.” Recent credits include “RV,” “Night at the Museum” and the animated film, “Happy Feet,” Williams continues to add to his repertoire of indelible characters and will be seen in the romantic comedy “License to Wed,” scheduled to hit theaters in July.
Offstage, Williams takes great joy in supporting numerous causes including “Comic Relief,” which was founded in 1986 as a non-profit organization to help America's homeless. He also has participated in a variety of benefit events including the Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children Benefit held at MGM Grand.
