2006 MLB Season Odds Posted by Sportsbook.com

NEW YORK – Sportsbook.com has come out swining and has posted a variety of odds for the upcoming 2006 MLB season. The New York Yankees are predicted to lead the League in wins, with the
  over under on total wins set at 97.5. The St. Louis Cardinals rank second at 93.5 wins followed by the Boston Red Sox at 92.5. The defending World Series champions, the Chicago White Sox, have an over/under set at 92 wins.

The Yankees are also listed as American League Pennant favorites at 2-1. Bernie Williams returns to the Bronx for another season, taking over as DH to make room for former Red Sox standout Johnny Damon in Center Field.

St. Louis will be looking for their acclaimed leader Jim Edmonds to rebound from a dismal 2005 season to ensure they remain among the elite in the National league. The Cardinals are the early favorites to capture the pennant at 5-2.
