TORONTO -- OLG Casino Point Edward has a brand new look and feel to its interior and the media and public are invited to a weekend of celebration beginning with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting FRIDAY,Point Edward Casino has a new interior look.

Special contests and events, give-away's, entertainment - including Canadian juggling champion and comedian Greg Tarlin - will be offered from Friday morning through to 11:00 PM Sunday, August 13 to mark the completion of months of extensive interior renovations and improvements. Complimentary cake and coffee will also be offered at various times throughout the weekend.
"This exciting renovation and refreshment celebrates our customers" said General Manager Stuart Walker. "The new gaming floor design and layout was completed to ensure it appeals to our players, and we're confident these changes will continue to generate local economic benefits into the future."
    Highlights of the renovations include:
    -   themed as "The Elements: Earth, Wind, Fire and Water"
    -   Cultured stone wall treatments in poker area and at the new entrance
        to the Boathouse Restaurant
    -   LED feature wall with image of the Bluewater Bridge
    -   New Boathouse Restaurant entrance (easier to locate)
    -   Texas Hold 'em Poker area is partially enclosed and all tables have
        been moved to the north end of the building
    -   Stingray Bar has been partially enclosed with glass
    -   LED lighting throughout that pulses and changes colour (in sync with
        the Bluewater Bridge feature wall)
    -   Elliptical spheres overhead improve lighting and create an intimate
        feel
OLG Casino Point Edward is owned and operated by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Since opening, the facility has attracted more than 6.3 million visitors, and to date, the municipality of Point Edward has received more than $18.5 million in non-tax gaming revenue from its local casino.
